MagLite S4C016 Review by A regular happy customer

This light worked as advertised for a few days. A spare bulb, kept in the base, was improperly stored, forcing too much pressure on the bottom of the batteries, which eventually flattened the spring contact at the top of the batteries. The result: once the bulb was properly stowed, there was little or no contact between the batteries & the spring contact at their top end. This was essentially the end of the light. This happened just after the expiration of the return period.

I would not recommend this product.

good, strong light, especially when concentrated via the adjustable lens. much more powerful than traditional flashlights i had around the house, and a good price. adjusting the focal length, though, seems to inadvertently unscrew the pieces below unless you specifically hold them tightly in place, so now i set it at the most focused setting and leave it there.

I've been using Grovia shells with prefolds for about 2 months now. I like the one size fits all concept and am pleased with how well it contains wet and poopy diapers (and we've had some that should have been blowouts). The shells are easy to launder. I have the biosoakers but have not used them yet since I'm still using up the pack of Seventh Generation disposables we got before getting the cloth diapering in place. My only complaint with the Grovia hook and loop is that it is a little too good at sticking to things (itself, the cloth pad on the changing table, etc.), but that is not enough to deter me from purchasing more.

The photograph is totally deceptive. Quality and finish leaves a lot to be desired. After the first wash the cloth has boblins - scant balls all over it. Paying $30+ shipping is a total waste of money.

The biggest selling point for me was the backpack and the fact that it went over one shoulder and would be a little harder to get off for a 2-year-old than a typical backpack. You do not get the backpack that is pictured! It is a regular backpack (2 shoulder straps) and comes off very easily! It is a transparent orange plastic backpack. The costume itself won't hold up for long, but most don't so no surprise there. I definitely won't be washing it before Halloween...he will wear it over clothes. I'm afraid it will fall apart in the washer. The outfit itself is cute but the backpack is such a huge disappointment. They need to change the picture!

Love it. I used to use one gallon jugs for my water but over time they begin to leak. Too messy. Bought the PUR filtration system a couple of years ago and have had no problem at all. Got this and installed in place of one of the swings - since was going in place of a swing was way easy to set up- just slip the metal ring over the swing hook. However - used less than a month and the rope on the top from metal ring began to fray and break. (only used by kids weighing 110 # or less) Replacing the rope (with chain) and should work fine ( have not had chance to test yet) all the other ropes seem in good condition - no fraying (yet)
Comfy chair and good deal if you replace/reinforce the top rope right away

Ordered this chair to replace one that had served us well for years. The construction of this chair was not as nice, but rated as able to handle up to 250 lbs. On the first day, my 125 lb son sat in it and the ropes holding it to the frame broke suddenly, dropping him to the concrete below. Luckily, only bruises. Dangerous - do not buy!!!

This chair is smaller than you would think. My 160 lb teenage son sat it in the second day it was up and the ropes broke. It wasn't just that the knots came undone, the ropes themselves actually snapped. It says it will hold up to 400 lbs. I wouldn't buy it.
